“Dolphin Pod” carved from black chlorite stone is the second iteration of an originally larger piece done in white maple. It was inspired by the seed of a pod plant found in eastern Texas, and appears to be a comfortably wrapped, resting figure, or in some eyes, the head of a dolphin.
