A group of flying Canada Geese circles a wetland pool, and come in for a landing, delicately avoiding the hundreds already in place. Individuals then rise on the water to aerate their wings. This fluffing movement creates a beautiful form, the essence which I tried to capture in three dimensional design and stone carving. The resultant delicate sculpture has been mounted on polished plate bronze which acts as the top for its vertical limestone container.
