The shell of an opening pod plant (although too short and wide) appeared to be the essence of a water vessel. “Vessel” was designed as a serene transformation of this form and carved in black stone to preserve its purity. The vessel is docked on a piece of honed limestone, the two acting as the handle for their black stone container.
